  • GREAT LOOKIN BIKE!

By (I am an Owner) onDec 12, 2011

Well, HD finally got one right in the appearance department! This bike capture the look and sound of a true HD, after changing the exhaust.... The bike runs well and handles GREAT for its' style. The heat coming off the rear cylinder, however, is a real BIT#H!

  • my 09 bones

By (I am an Owner) onAug 22, 2010

i have ridden sports bikes, cruiser bikes, but this is my first HD and i love my motorhog. i am 6ft 2in and it fits like a glove. the mini baboon hangers are perfect. it is confortable and the look is incredible. i love the old school bobber look with the springer front end and spring loaded ... tractor seat to match. the riding position is upright but gives a great view of the road. it is a great ride down the street or for a long day in the hill country. the old school look with fat front tire, black out motor and plain jane air clearner cover/horn cover without the HD logo makes it very unique to the rest of the line. i get lots of attention no matter where i ride whether i am at a bike night or other biking event. i rarely seen more than two cross bone at any event. i would whole heartly reccommend this bike to anyone who asks.

i love my motor and would not trade it for the world.

Well I must say I am very impressed with the crossbones. A woman rider and my first bike ever; I was a little intimidated by the size until I rode....I love it - It fits me to a T, very comfortable and handled awesome! I love my 2009 crossbones...wouldn't trade it for anything; unique and everyone ... comments..Sassy!

unique style and incredibly smooth ride. this is my 3rd hd. all were great. this model is my keeper. no need to be a chrome or accessory freak on this...it would only destroy the look.

its also surprisingly rare on the road.

  • High... and Mighty

By (I am an Enthusiast) onJul 25, 2009

I had the pleasure of a 24 hour time with the Crossbones. I know the first thing that you usually think looking at it is... its so--- high.

I'm 6'1" tall, and 210lbs. This bike fit like a glove. The ride is nimble, and exciting, but very smooth. You can definately feel the engine ... pull like a thoroughbred, but the handling is actually quite subtle and nimble.

Within 10 minute,s the higher appearing center of gtravity was a complete non-issue. With the forward-ish foot position, comfy floor boards, and very well executed ape-hangers... I was in the seat for 5 hours without the slightest ache.

Awesome bike... and much more than a looker.

  • crossbones bad to the bone

By (I am an Owner) onJul 05, 2009

Oct.08 zero miles July 4th. 16000 miles. This little Iron pony is the finest of them all in my opinion. The ride is amazing with the wide tires and soft tail/springer suspension. Incredibly powerful 96 c.i. V twin. It was the only bike that didn't look like the rest and I believe the performance ... is like none of the rest. I am stoaked to the max. Thank you Harley Davidson for designing a bike I've waited my whole life for. I am so glad I waited. Tup Northern California

  • Amazing looking bike that rides like a dream!

    By () onApr 12, 2009

Nearly everyone who rides this bike for the first time has low expectations of the handling of this bike before they get on it, but end up baffled by it's smooth, nimble ride. It's surprisingly comfortable for long distances too.
