"Summer House" star Lindsay Hubbard is pregnant with her first child.
The Bravolebrity, 37, revealed the happy news on Instagram on the Fourth of July when she shared some photos of her growing baby bump, as well as a snap of her positive pregnancy test and some pics from her ultrasound.
"Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!! 💥💥💥," she wrote. "I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! 💫The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier."
"My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!! 🦁🎁," she continued.
Although Hubbard didn’t reveal her new boyfriend’s name in the post, she did include a photo of a man cradling her baby bump from behind. However, his face cannot be seen.
She received a lot of love in the comments from other Bravo personalities.
"Congratulations!! Imagine making someone sandwiches all the time and they never make one for you…..but with this little person it’s totally okay 💗," former "Below Deck" star Kate Chastain wrote, referencing one of Hubbard's infamous quotes about sandwiches from "Summer House."
"Love you! So happy for you! 🥹," "Vanderpump Rules" star Kate Maloney commented.
"lindsay!!!!! omg congratulations! ❤️❤️," "VPR" star and "Love Island USA" host Ariana Madix wrote.
One of Hubbard's other "Summer House" co-stars, Paige DeSorbo, seemingly predicted Hubbard's pregnancy last year while filming an episode of the show, which aired earlier this year. DeSorbo made a comment to Hubbard after Hubbard's split from Carl Radke that in a year, she "could be married with a baby" with the love of her life.
"My manifestation even scared me….congratulations," DeSorbo wrote on Hubbard's post about her pregnancy news.
Hubbard was previously engaged to Radke — her "Summer House" co-star. Their relationship from friends to lovers played out across multiple seasons of the show, and their breakup was documented in the most recent season.
In September 2023, Hubbard confirmed she and Radke ended their engagement after days of fan speculation online.
“The last 2 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life,” Hubbard wrote on Instagram after their split. “My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me and I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all — with no answers or closure on why. I feel humiliated by how it went down, and simultaneously heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust has been betrayed, and coming to terms with that has been difficult for me.”
Though the breakup was difficult for Hubbard, she is now seeing someone new. On the "Summer House" Season Eight reunion, she told host Andy Cohen that she is dating someone who has not seen her show as of yet.
"Oh, boy," Cohen replied.
She also told Rolling Stone that she doesn't know if her new boyfriend will join the "Summer House" cast.
“I think that’s a conversation that I would have to have with him,” she said.
As for Radke, she said she feels "very indifferent" about him and wouldn't mind shooting another season of "Summer House" with him despite their breakup.
“I look back on that relationship and I thank God I’m not in that relationship anymore. I’m in a different relationship that is so loving, caring, and respectful. I’m in a really good headspace in general right now,” she explained. “With Carl, I just look at him like he’s just another guy in the room. I don’t have any emotions one way or another. I don’t have hatred towards him, I don’t wish him any ill will. I’m not going to go talk to him about all the s--t going on in my life but I can tolerate being in the same room as him. If that means living in the same house, great, whatever.”
Hubbard's journey to motherhood has been a long time coming. In 2022, she revealed she had started the journey of freezing her eggs in a post she shared on Instagram.
Hubbard has also been pregnant before with her "Winter House"co-star Jason Cameron's child, but in January 2022, she revealed she suffered a miscarriage in the Season Six premiere of "Summer House."
Hubbard shared another post to her Instagram page July 5 thanking fans for their support.
"I woke up this morning feeling so blessed and grateful for this journey 🙏🥰," she wrote.
"But most of all, I’m relieved and excited to finally be able to celebrate openly, and with the world. It has been extremely difficult to hide my excitement in secrecy, and now that I’m able to share my happiness and joy, I feel like a weight has been lifted (even though I’m actually gaining weight by the day lol)!"
She continued: "Our little cub is already so so loved! 🥹 Thank you for all of the sweet comments, love, and support! We are truly over the moon right now! ❣️"
